Janie Jacobs, MD

Dr. Jacobs and her husband live in Columbia. They have a son and twin daughters. Their time outside of work is spent trying to remember the days are long but the years are short – navigating the challenges of balancing sports, screen time, picky eaters, sibling rivalries, and a messy house at the end of every day! They are active members in their church. Dr. Jacobs loves the variety in pediatrics that comes from each stage in children’s lives. Issues that are of particular interest to her are antibiotic stewardship and increasing access to acute care through a child’s medical home – their primary care doctor’s office.
