Dr. Pecorak played Division I basketball at Davidson College while completing his undergraduate studies. He practiced for twenty-four years in the Cleveland, Ohio area before moving to Columbia and joining Tiger Pediatrics in 2005.  Dr. Pecorak is married to Cee Jaye, a pharmacist.  They love watching Mizzou Tiger sporting events, gardening, bicycling, traveling, and tending to their alpacas and their family. The Pecoraks have five children and six grandchildren.

Dr. Pecorak loves pediatrics because he enjoys getting to know children and their families. He is also intrigued by the challenge of figuring out and learning about the disease processes that affect his patients.  He hopes that his interactions with families convey the compassion he feels for each and every one of his patients and would encourage all of his patients to feel comfortable about discussing any aspect of infant, child, and adolescent health and development.
